Hurry up!

When are you coming to London?

I am bored of waiting.

The thrill of Christmas is over and we have no cash.

I need you to visit.

To cause chaos and excitement

in equal measure.

Freeview-entertainment for the masses.

I want you to fall.

Thick and fast.

tubes and trains.

offices and schools.

Don’t feel obliged to stay long

a day or two would do.

We can always catch up properly later in the year.

  1. It would be good if it could just visit London for a change.
Sad when for some the magic is overridden by the practicalities.
    Bah humbug

    1. 😃 I know. But it looks sooooooo pretty. These photos (except the last one) were taken ages ago late one night when we were driving back from the cottage. It was so magical. It was nearly midnight and not a soul was around. Eerily quiet. We just got out of the car and started snapping. X

  2. Tee hee!! Even when I am old and wrinkly I will feel like a 5 year old in class almost squealing with excitement as the first flakes fell. Knowing that it was only a matter of time before school closed! Awesome. 😃

    1. We haven’t had it yet. Fingers crossed we will though. Those are old photos. But my parents in the north had snow last night. So envious!!! My mum sent me photos. Thanks so much for the comment and for following my blog. I am looking forward to having a good look around your site later. 😀

  3. Dreaming of winter…I will gladly send as much as you can handle 🙂 Great images and, once again, your poetry is perfect.

    1. Yes! Wave it across from Newfoundland!!!!! Although we Brits couldn’t handle that much snow. The whole country would grind to a halt 😃. Glad you like the images. They are fairly old but edited them quite a lot and like the drawing-like quality some of them now have, especially the bus.

      1. Will do, and I’ll make sure not to send too much 🙂 I love what you have done to these photos; you have a great eye for detail!
